I started playing the clarinet when I was a child and the saxophone soon after.  I enjoy playing both instruments in many bands, including Concert and Big Bands.  Since 1990 I have been the Musical Director of the Southlake Concert Band.  My students range in age from 6 to 88, and I run quartet groups for various abilities and ages. 

I initially started renting instruments to my students because many of them were having trouble finding quality instruments with flexible and affordable payment options.

Hiring an instrument is the easiest and cheapest way of exploring your or your child's musical talent without the expense of an outright purchase.  With a minimum hire term of just 3 months, why not give it a go?

We have been providing instruments for hire and for sale since 1997.  Originally supplying just saxophones, we have expanded due to popular demand to include all woodwind instruments as well as a large range of brass instruments.

Music is our passion and we aim to encourage as many people as possible to get involved and learn to play a musical instrument. We are happy to offer advice and help to musicians of all ages and abilities to help you choose the best instrument for you.

Whether you are a complete beginner or have some previous experience and may be looking to upgrade your instrument, we can help.

• Flexible rental periods from 3 months;

• All rental paid during the 12 month hire term would count towards the purchase of any new or used instrument;
• Free UK mainland delivery via DPD couriers or a  free one hour lesson if you collect it from us;
• Further lessons are available for £14 per 30 minutes.
• We are the only firm in the UK offering rental options on pro-level instruments including Yamaha, Selmer Paris,  Yanagisawa, Trevor James, Buffet and Besson etc.
